These dog treats were really fun to make! I made them for Anthropologie’s sit.stay.love. event in Beverly Hills on Thursday the 15th. I hope to have photos from the actual event soon, but for now here is just a sneak peak…

I rolled and cut out bone and fire hydrant shaped treats and bagged them up for the doggies.

Chocolate chip cookies and water for the owners

Chloe certainly enjoyed them, so I hope the other dogs do too!

Gwen knew exactly what kind of cake she wanted for her birthday. She had a narnia themed party at a local park in Santa Monica so I know I wanted to create a very rustic feeling dessert table.

I made a Victoria sponge cake like she wanted, filled with plenty of whipped cream and strawberries.

Along with the cake I made chocolate chip cookies, s’mores tarts and simple vanilla cupcakes.

Happy birthday Gwen!!

Santa Monica Anthropologie had its fall fashion show last week and it was a huge success! We highlighted our denim and showed different ways to outfit them.

House-made virgin sangria and cheeses from Norcino Salumeria at the Santa Monica Market

I made 2 different kinds of truffles to compliment the sangria and cheese: milk chocolate hazelnut and mint dark chocolate oreo.

I love this shot of the girls right getting ready to strut there stuff!

A few of my favorite looks from the show.

I’m so excited for the book signing by chef and author Yotam Ottolenghi for his book Plenty!
“London chef Yotam Ottolenghi presents a sumptuous collection of 120 vegetable recipes rooted in his Mediterranean heritage, his love of freshness and seasonality, and the diverse food cultures of his city. Perhaps because he is not a vegetarian himself, his approach to vegetable cookery is refreshingly innovative. A mouthwatering photo by Jonathan Lovekin accompanies each recipe.”
It’ll be next Friday, the 15th from 12-2 at the Anthropologie in Santa Monica.
I’ll be picking up some fresh ingredients from the farmer’s market on Wednesday, then cooking a few dishes from his book and serving them at the event! So stop by, meet Yotam and try some of the goodies!
